DOR30 Biometric is the reading head with biometric fingerprints reader, realized by Selesta Ingegneria and addressed to the Access Control market.

DOR30 Biometric is equipped with an optical sensor to detect the fingerprint and with a RFID ISO14443A Mifare® reader.

The optical sensor used is characterized by high levels of precision and performance and by an exceptional robustness. It is able to process in a fast and secure way high-quality images of the fingerprints.

DOR30 Biometric is provided with keyboard for PIN introduction and high legibility display to visualize service messages.


DOR30 Biometric allows the identification of people by the recognition of the fingerprint. The device combines to the uniqueness of fingerprint the RFID badges technology for the immediate recognition and the consequent entry authorization of the controlled site.

DOR30 Biometric conforms to the technical requirement defined by the  Authority for the protection of personal data: the fingerprint is in no way memorized inside the system, but a mathematical  model thereof ("template") is used from wich it is not possible in anyway to go back to the image of fingerprint.

No biometric data are sent to the system: the template of the fingerprint is memorized exclusively on the personal identification support of the user, that remains in his exclusive availability.

DOR30 Biometric can be connected to the multi-head WD3000 or ISOClass central units by RS485 serial line.
