Application software for on line management of access control to restricted areas. It compares the identification data of the personnel in transit, with the pre-defined personal profiles of authorization to the access, allowing or denying the access accordingly.
VAM guarantees applicability to hw and sw architectures of high complexity, also in extended multi-site geographical configuration, ability to operate both on line (transit authorization is granted by the VAM Server) and in degraded conditions (the terminals contain lists of transit authorizations or refusals) or in both modes contemporarily, security through the protected access to the system through user identification and data cryptography, realization in real time of complex anti-passback logics, timeframes, quantitative controls, visualizations and searches, definition of unlimited levels of authorization, plant graphic management, report generation, visualization of the personnel present in the various areas, treatment of the alarm signals coming from the field.
VAM operates on one or more client work stations, provided with S.O. Windows and connected through LAN to a server used as a data concentrator, where the files reside.
